While Nathan's team struggled this year to get a win, it was enjoyable as a parent to watch the progress that he made from the beginning of the season to the end. We learned early on that Nate wasn't going to dribble the ball. Those of you that remember from when he was little will recall that Becky, our babysitter at the time, nicknamed him Hoppy. Well, when it comes to moving with the basketball that is exactly what he wants to do....hop!!! I told him he needed to be a shooter if he wasn't going to drive the basket. In the game against Timberline, he scored 8 points. Yeah!!! He received lots of compliments this year about the FAST athlete he is turning into. Let's hope they have some success in the win department next year.
Nathan and Katy both attended the NBC Camps at Lewiston High School yesterday. Sounded like they learned lots that they can apply to their games.
